Amateur Teacher Examination

Amateur Teachers now have an opportunity to receive CDTA recognition without professional status. This will allow them to to enter competitions as amateurs while sharing their expertise in developing other dancers as amateur teachers. Should they wish to pursue a professional path at a later time, the examination allows them to join the CDTA at the Associate level instead of Pre-Associate.

The examination will be conducted by a CDTA Examiner. Successful candidates will receive a report and certificate of completion.

The format includes a practical demonstration, and a theory and technical analysis.
