Ballet, Jazz, and Tap Syllabus Revisions – Syllabus Revisions that come from the CDTA National Committees will be presented, demonstrated, and discussed. This will keep teachers current and abreast of the changes being implemented to the examination syllabi for Sep 2019.
Acrobatic Dance, Modern, and National Syllabus Introductions – These syllabi will be introduced for those currently teaching or wishing to teach the syllabi. Acrobatic Dance and Modern are the new National CDTA Syllabi. Modern is currently being examined up to Level 4. Acrobatic Dance will be transitioning from our current BC Syllabus to the National CDTA Syllabus over the course of the next two years with the BC Syllabus being phased out in Jul 2021. The National Dance Syllabus is brought to you by our Multicultural Chair and is intended as a compliment to theatrical dance training (i.e. ballet, jazz, tap, and/or modern) and is available to CDTA certified dance schools.
Examiner Q&A’s: • Ballet 10AM • Jazz 11AM • Modern 1PM • Tap 2PM • Multicultural 3PM • Acrobatic Dance 4PM
Q&A Sessions – Ask any and all of your burning questions regarding the syllabi, technique, or how to teach that one step you can’t quite perfect! Our Examiners will be happy to help you with whatever queries you may have.
